Aaaaaand they’re back!
Following a stellar 2019 filled with sell out tours, millions of downloads, star-studded line ups and intriguing discussions about what it means to be a feminist today, The Guilty Feminist Tour is back this May! Expect more laughs, eye-opening discussions of the tricky subjects and of course, more music from Jess.
The podcast, started in 2016 by comedian Deborah Frances-White, has become an internationally renowned phenomenon, with over 50 million downloads since its creation only a few short years ago. Since the podcast first leapt onto the comedy circuit, so much has changed and being a feminist encapsulates so much more than wanting the right to vote. So, Deborah and co are back to talk about the big F word, and Jess is along for the ride, bringing with her musical mashups and spot on singing impressions of her favourite girls.
From Brighton to Glasgow, Jess and co will be discussing everything it means to be a feminist in todays crazy, confusing and sometimes downright infuriating world (we’re looking at you, Boris and co).
Last year, Jess’s girl power megamix was a huge hit with the audience, with impressions of feminist heroes including Mary Poppins, Aretha franklin, Beyoncé and Katy Perry so you can expect even more mash ups and tons more girl power this time around.
Deborah and co will kick off this year’s tour in London on the 1st May at the iconic Eventim Apollo, making their way around the UK and ending on the 31st in Sheffield. Jess will be performing on 25 nights out of the whole month, so really there’s no excuse not to grab yourself a ticket. You can do so HERE
